Sorry for the radio silence. I was in Miami last week for work and took the opportunity as a break from some of my daily activities at home — aka working out and blogging. I thought it would be a nice time to relax and have some ‘me’ time but now I am really kicking myself in the butt because I have been thrown into a christmas frenzy trying to buy all my gifts online so they arrive in time. Usually I am way ahead of the game and know exactly what I am going to buy each person weeks in advance, but this year it has been very difficult for me to be decisive when picking out gifts. A lot of the things I have ended up ordering online were on sale on black friday but I just couldn’t pull the trigger on a couple of the larger items. I have learned my lesson on getting behind on the Christmas shopping this year for sure!
Although it was quite lovely enjoying warmer weather in December, it certainly didnt’t do much for putting me in the holiday spirit. Many local businesses do not decorate down in south Florida like those in more temperate climates do. This past week and weekend I have been sure to play Christmas music and turn the lights on the tree each night to enjoy the two short weeks of decor at my apartment.
I have found some too-good-to-pass-up deals while I have been frantically shopping online. Check em out.
